For a downtown Sarasota office, Dane Spencer designed a green screen to shield from heat and harsh sunlight.

The arbor fills several needs: business identity, shade to augment building cooling and a barrier to soften harsh direct sunlight in the studio space.

Solution

A deep-blue arbor of blue-green, yellow and orange kalanchoe thyrisifloria creates the perfect eye-catching effect to draw in business, while keeping the office cool with reduced glare.
